its been a rough day trying to edit our podcast! We've finally succeeded in submitting our podcast and hope you guys too are carrying on well. Podcast stuff was very interesting and exciting though!

Interrutptions with Podcast
Dear all,
Hope you had a nice interviewing session yesterday. Eirene and I had a serious interruption with exporting our interview. We don't know what happened, but the interview recorded just half way after it was burned on the disc! The good news is that the original interview does not present this problem and we are lucky we booked for the interview early enough to deal with this unforseen circumstance!
Yesterday, we spent hours to fix this problem at the AV suit room with the technicians and i will say the problem has been resolved, though we still have to verify a few things before submitting the assignment. We will hopefully finish the final checking in a short time and I will keep you posted.

FINAL PODCAST
Dear all,
We've finally succeeded in completing our podcast! It was a very interesting session, though we were quite worried at the beginning. We had a direct interviewer and interviewee session. There was no opportunity for a second videotaping due to time constraint. To tell you the truth, the most difficult part was with the editing, but we were lucky because the guys at the AV suit were very nice. Thus after the videotaping, we did editing and directing. I think this course, paticularly, the podcast presentation, is very relevant as it prepares us to address an audience and engage them in our talk.
Thanks again to Mark and all who helped us in the communicating science module!
I hope you girls have a brilliant presentation tomorrow and don't worry, just be prepared and it will be just fine.

Happy New Year

hope you are all doing fine and had a nice christmas vacation. I also hope you are all carrying on well with your Podcast. As for Eirene and I, i think all is fine with the podcast stuff and we are very eager to do the interviews. As soon as we complete our podcast, we'll make sure we post it for peer review.

how are you preparing for Christmas and how are you carrying on with your podcast presentation? Eirene and I are planning to communicate via blogger and maybe skype during this christmas period to plan our podcast presentation. All the best and a wonderful Cristmas period and prosperous new year.

Dear Mark,
thank you so much for the feedback. I have discussed with Eirene on the hints you gave us for our podcast. Our audience will be teenages' parents. What we are not very clear about is : 'How we are going to align the questions to this audience and the methods we are going to use'. We were thinking to use our different roles as 'midwife and teacher 'to pass on information or maybe educate parents on the factors that may expose their children to early pregnancies, so that they can better support their children at this vulnerable stage of development? I don't know if this makes sense? We will be glad if you can enlighten us.

Hello everybody,
Hope you had a lovely and relaxing weekend, because we all need this! So how are you carryinng on with the assignments, especially with respect to the podcast presentation? Last week, after a brief talk with Mark, Eirene and I were planning on the structure of our presentation. We are to talk on 'Teenage Pregnancy' and we decided we are going to use the expert videotaping to communicate our message to the intended audience. Meanwhile, we are thinking of the different methods we can apply to make communication of our message effective and fruitful.
